“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Matthew 16:18
“The vast majority of our churches in North America are struggling. There are fruitless churches all across North America, churches where new disciples aren’t being made and neighboring communities aren’t being transformed. A church that is not producing fruit does not accurately reflect God’s glory.”
— Mark Clifton
Our vision is to see disciple-making churches throughout southwestern Oklahoma who are thriving, multiplying, and loving their community well…prevailing churches. The idea was inspired from Jesus’ charge in Matthew 16:18, “…And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
What we
1.
2.
3.
4.
MUST do —
Build Elgin a facility
We’ve worked with architects to create detailed plans and are now finalizing cost estimates. Here’s a sneak peek of what we’re envisioning for this new facility!
Update Marlow Student Facility
We plan to expand the square footage of the Marlow Student Facility. Architectural plans are already in place, and with some dedicated effort, we believe much of the demolition work can be completed in-house.
We plan to add several large classrooms and relocate some of our Sunday classes, with the goal of consolidating our children's spaces into one secure, centralized area.
Repurpose our Chapel
Rebrand Marlow First
We are excited to rebrand Marlow First as Connection Church, reflecting our vision of being one church with multiple locations.
What we
SHOULD do —
Build Duncan a facility
Our goal is to build a facility in Duncan as soon as possible. The design will be identical to the Elgin facility, with minor adjustments made to accommodate specific functions and current ministry needs.
What we
COULD do —
Renovate Marlow’s Lobby
We plan to renovate the Marlow lobby to create a more welcoming and functional entryway. This will involve removing the existing classrooms and offices along the hallway behind the chapel transforming this area into a cohesive and modern entrance. Our current lobby does not adequately support the needs of a campus the size of Marlow First.
